On February 17, the Chinese New Year begins. The Snake sheds her old skin, and the Horse – this year the Fire Horse – gallops into the new year.
For me, this feels especially meaningful, as I was born in the Year of the Horse and my Sun is in Leo, also a fire sign. It will likely be an intense year.
To add even more power to the moment, on February 17 we will witness an annular solar eclipse – the Ring of Fire – which will be fully visible only in Antarctica.
Energies that have stagnated in the past are now set into motion. The Horse is characterized by a strong drive for freedom and independence. The Year of the Fire Horse gives this energy an extra boost. The element of fire represents passion and adventure. What is your passion? What is your potential?
An old saying goes:
“Prepare your heart. The Fire Horse does not come to follow — it comes to transform.”
We will see this not only within ourselves, but also in the world around us.
Of course, you can find much more information about the Fire Horse, but I prefer to keep things simple and speak through images.
With love
