As a child I loved to visit my grandparents who lived in the garden city in Boom. I remember the beautiful hydrangeas that graced nicely (it was the way people did it back then 😉 in the middle of the front garden. Behind the house was a small courtyard (plus shed) followed by a garden with (of course) hydrangeas.
A nice reminder of how simple everything seemed back then…
