Every year a lot of children disappear, some are found, others end up in child trafficking. It is difficult to put a number on it because the registration fails in some places. One can only rely on estimated figures and unfortunately there are many, far too many. Besides, every child is one too much. You don’t touch children, it’s that simple.
The children’s faces on this drawing are based on free reference photos and have nothing to do with disappearances. They only served to make this symbolic work, an expression of my concern for the innocence of these little people.
